AGREEMENT OR DISAGREEMENT?

AGREEMENT OR DISAGREEMENT?.

This paper will focus on couple of statements made by Jesus and John the Baptist which are found in the bible... And how they tell us a completely different story of each other's understanding ! Now when we read the book of Matthew we find an interesting passage where Jesus says Elijah had already arrived and the Jews missed his return? And this Elijah is JOHN THE BAPTIST according to Jesus  (EXPLICITLY)

-------------

For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John, And if you are willing to accept what I say, he is Elijah, the one the prophets said would come.
(Matthew 11:13-14)

Once again the disciples ask Jesus about Elisha and he replies :

The disciples asked him, "Why then do the teachers of the law say that Elijah must come first?" Jesus replied, "Elijah is indeed coming first to get everything ready. But I tell you that Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but did to him whatever they pleased. So also the Son of Man will certainly suffer at their hands.” Then the disciples understood that he was talking to them about John the Baptist. (Matthew 17:10-13)

So from the above passages it's crystal clear which cannot be ignored that Jesus was referring to John the Baptist as Elisha who came but the Jews did not recognise him? Even the disciples knew whom Jesus was referring to as found in Matthew 17. THE MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION IS WAS JOHN THE BAPTIST AWARE IF HE WAS ELIJAH? Let's find out :

Now this was John's testimony when the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask him who he was. He did not fail to confess, but confessed freely, "I am not the Messiah." "Well then, who are you?" they asked. "Are you Elijah?" "No," he replied. "Are you the Prophet we are expecting?" "No." (John 1:19-21)

Notice how John the Baptist openly denied he was not the Messiah nor Elijah nor That Prophet the Jews we're expecting ? Did Jesus make a mistake on who John the Baptist was? Or is there something else we need to know like reincarnation which is a pagan belief hard to explain! (NOTE I will add additional part of pagan belief at the bottom of this paper) It doesn't stop there John the Baptist himself wasn't sure if Jesus was the Messiah let's read this great problem :

Now when John heard in prison about the deeds of the Christ, he sent word by his disciples and said to him, "Are you the one who is to come, or shall we look for another?" (Matthew 11:2-3)

The disciples of John reported all these things to him. And John, calling two of his disciples to him, sent them to the Lord, saying, “Are you the one who is to come, or shall we look for another?”
( Luke 7:18-19)

----------------

Wait a sec John the Baptist wasn't sure of Jesus was the chosen one? Then Why would john the author say he knew him from start?? If John the Baptist wasn't sure who Jesus was what he came for, HOW SURE ARE YOU!!

Can you imagine John the Baptist doubted if Jesus was the chosen one and needed clarification? John the Baptist  whom Jesus said no man born of a woman is greater then him (Matthew 11:11), (Luke 7:28)..  Jesus even called John the Baptist elijah (Matthew 11:14) and John the Baptist doubted him he must of had his reason why???

That's another blow on John the author for trying to make it seem like John the Baptist and Jesus were in agreement... Two great men's from the same time same place not sure if each other?

----------------------------------------------------

Additional part added

Pagan idea found by jesus of the bible ?

Pagans believe in reincarnation that's unanimously agreed by all Hindu idol worshippers... It's funny we find such an idea by jesus about John the Baptist? According to jesus elijah came back as John the Baptist? The story goes like this,  The jews asked jesus how can he be the messiah when elijah has not arrived yet? And jesus replied by saying :

"And if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah, who is to come."
(Matthew 11:14)

But I say unto you, That Elias is come already.... then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist

But I say unto you, That Elias is indeed come, and they have done unto him whatsoever they listed, as it is written of him. (Mark 9:13)

-----------------

No prophets of the OT spoke of reincarnation??? That's a pagan idea which is only found by jesus of the bible!! No wonder the jews hadn't accepted his ideology

Wonder how Christians will snake out of this one...

We Muslims make no distinction

It seems like Nigerian Christian apologist trying to compare the abilities of Prophets Pbut, whereas us Muslims are not allowed to make such comparisons, but for the record to shut up these people, lets compare two narrations and see what they think.
Again as Muslims we make no distinctions between Prophets of Allah Swt. This is only a response.
Christians claim Jesus was God? yet this so called god was not even aware of what was happening behind him
----------------
And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped.
"Who touched me?" Jesus asked. When they all denied it, Peter said, "Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you But Jesus said, "Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me." (Luke 8:43:46)
From the above passage Jesus was touched by a woman YET HE DID NOT KNOW WHO TOUCHED HIM? HE SAID TO THE PEOPLE AROUND HIM "WHO TOUCHED ME?" Can you imagine this man they call god didn't even know what happened behind him?
--------------
Now let's turn the table and read a few Hadiths how Prophet Muhammed Pbuh was able to see behind him. Again please note we are not making any comparisons or distinctions we are only responding to their pathetic weakness
Read below the Hadith's and judge for yourselves ...
-------------
One of the miracles of which the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) told his Companions is that he could see them behind his back, as he could see them in front of him.
Al-Bukhaari (741) and Muslim (424) narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Do you think that I face the qiblah (and do not know what you are doing)? By Allah, your bowing and prostrating are not hidden from me; I can see you behind my back.”
Ahmad (9504) narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) led us in praying Zuhr, and in the last row there was a man who prayed badly. When he said the salaam, the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) called him and said: “O So and so, do you not fear Allah? Do you not see how you pray. You think that you could hide from me some of what you do, but by Allah I can see behind me as well as I can see in front of me.”
Classed as saheeh by Shaykh al-Albaani (may Allah have mercy on him) in Mishkaat al-Masaabeeh (no. 811)

IBN 'UMAR RA relates: "As we were travelling in the desert with the Messenger of Allah Pbuh we saw a bedouin coming towards us. When he reached us, the Prophet Pbuh said to him: 'Where do you wish to go?' 'To my family,' replied the bedouin. The Prophet Pbuh then said : 'Are you interested in some good?' The bedouin asked: ' What is it?' The Prophet Pbuh replied: 'Testify that there is no object of worship except Allah alone, without any partners and that i am His slave and Messenger.' The bedouin said: 'And who is there to testify to what you claim?' The Prophet Pbuh said' 'That tree,' pointing to the tree standing on the side of the vally. He summoned it and it miraculously started moving towards them, its roots cleaving the ground in its path untill it halts in front of them. The Prophet Pbuh asked the tree to bear witness three time that what he said was true, which it did. Then it returned as it had come to its original place. The bedouin embracing Islam, left to return to his people saying : 'If they follow me i will bring them to you, but if they refuse i will certainly return and stay with you'
(Sunan al-Darami, vol. 1, hadith 16.)
Indeed this was a miraculous event witnessed by the companions Ra and the bedouin.
Now, without making any distinctions if we turn to the Jesus of the bible and make a "comparison" then we find their man-god showed no uniqueness when it came to miracles. Take for example, Jesus and the fig tree:
12 The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. 13 Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs
(Mark 11:12-14)
Jesus a man Christians call god was unable to bring figs to blossom before its season shows what kind of miracles he possessed. Yet we read from Hadith, Prophet Muhammed Pbuh was able to make a tree walk towards him, just by pointing at it. The tree heard the words of Prophet Muhammed Pbuh and bore witness three time, yet Jesus of the bible was unable to bring figs.
whats worse for Christians, according to the Talmud a son of a rabbis was able to make figs blossom just by praying. he pulled off a better stunt then the man-god of Christians.
The Talmud describes a story wherein Rabbi yosi's son wanted to feed his workers and the fig tree had not figs. Rabbi yosi cried out loud " fig tree fig tree send forth your fruit" and the tree produced figs and they ate. (Talmud Tannis 24a )
Again this is a example on how weak the claim made by Christians is, that Jesus is god.

“If you are in doubt”

A recent trend circulating among Christians on social media has caused Muslims to laugh. The good old British stand-up comedians have now bl...
