Did the Jewish Orthodox Rabbis intentionally lie? Bible says yes

While the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened. When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money, telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.’ If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.” So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day (Matthew 28:11-15)

-----------------------------

An interesting passage that needs attention. We read that after the women were on their way  the guards found out of the empty tomb, they went to the chief priests to told them what had happened, and the  CHIEF PRIEST DEVISED A PLAN AND PAID THE SOLDIERS MONEY, AND THIS WAS WIDELY CIRCULATED AMONGST THE JEWS TiLL THIS DAY?

Let's analyse this Matthew is telling us that the chief priest turned to deception by making a plan and resulting to making the soldiers lie by bribing them, this is highly unlikely when their  Torah says :

“You shall not steal; you shall not deal falsely; you shall not lie to one another. (Levitcus 19:11)

A gift given in secret soothes anger, and a bribe concealed in the cloak pacifies great wrath. (Proverbs 21:14)

The above verses cannot be more emphasised to say that lying, dealing falsely and taking or giving bribe is a great Sin. How then could the Chief priests commit such a blasphemous act? Seems more like the Christian writer had a motive to expose Jewish rabbis!

Second point, notice the last part of Matthew's statement, in verse 15 "So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day"

Where can we find such information in  Jewish source other than the gospel? Surely if this was really true and the story was widely circulated then we much have it documented right? Please give us references to Jewish document historical writing, Talmudic writing rabbis writing anything! Where can we verify the soldiers took the money from the chief priests and who were those priests ?.

A dilemma indeed shows how Matthews made up story could easily get caught out red handed what a Shame !

think about it, if the Rabbis can lie for a man and put their salvation at risk, what makes you think they were unable to change the Torah and flip the text?

another point to add

It’s fascinating when you ask a Christian where is Jesus is mentioned in the Tankh, they will point out hundreds of passages. Yet when you say to them the Jewish rabbis disagree and dismiss any such thought of Jesus being mentioned anywhere in the entire Tanakh. The rabbis also say there is no place in the Tanack for Jesus. The Christians respond by saying, “the Jewish rabbis are lying” They are hiding the truth !

Are you saying these Jews who live by the Tanakh day in day out, would “lie” about their holy God inspired text? The love the orthodox Jew have for the Tanakh is unbelievable, why then would they lie to keep Jesus out of the Tanakh knowing they would go Hell for that?

Would they really put their salvation on line and lie about their God given holy text? Unless they are absolutely sure that Jesus really isn’t found anywhere in the Tanakh wouldn’t that make more sense.
