Rabbis Inspired by God

What is the difference between the writings of  the Talmudic Rabbis and the authors of the New Testament, since they both claim to be inspired by God? Well at least the Rabbis do, the New Testament gospel writers never claimed to be inspired by God.
The authority of the Talmud is explained in Pirkei Avot:
Moshe received the Torah from Sinai and transmitted it to Yehoshua, and Yehoshua to the Elders, and the Elders to the Prophets, and the Prophets transmitted it to the Men of the Great Assembly. They said three things: Be deliberate in judgment, raise up many disciples and make a fence for the Torah. -( Pirkei Avot 1:1)
The Torah also makes reference to Rabbis having authority Deuteronomy 21:5. how comes Christians refuse to accept what the Rabbis have to say, since they are inspired by God? Christians who claim the New Testament authors were inspired fail to show us any hard evidence. Rather they turn to what 2 Peter says
Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture comes from the prophet’s own interpretation. For no prophecy was everbrought about through human initiative, but menspoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. (2 Peter 1:20-21)
The only problem with this is, 2 Peter is FORGED. So now they have nothing to show that the authors of the New Testament were inspired unlike the Talmudic and Torah sayings. We have no reason to believe these authors of the NT were inspired by God and turning to 2 Peter only shows how unreliable their books are
