Whenever the impure spirits saw him, they fell down before him
and cried out, "You are the Son of God." (Mark 3:11)
"If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw
yourself down. For it is written: "'He will command his angels concerning
you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your
foot against a stone.'" (Matthew 4:6)

You maybe be thinking, how are the devils including Satan
denying Jesus is the son of God? Rather they are confessing he is.
"are they"? Not according to what Jesus said
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out
your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the
truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native
language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. (John 8:44)
Notice how Jesus is testifying to the Jews about Satan and his
followers (devils) "for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks
his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies." if we are
to take what Jesus said then this means, when Satan and the devils confessed
Jesus was the son of God they "lied"
Now ask yourself when "Satan and the devils" said
Jesus was the son of God, did they lie or speak the truth? If you say they
spoke the truth, then this makes Jesus a liar. The problem Christians face is
when Satan quoted the scriptures did he lie or speak the truth?
For it is written: "'He will command his angels concerning
you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your
foot against a stone.'" (Matthew 4:6)
Did Satan speak the truth when he quoted the scripture or was it
another lie as Jesus affirmed? The ironic part is Jesus even rebuked the devils
for calling him the son of God, which says a lot.
40 At
sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and
laying his hands on each one, he healed them. 41 Moreover,
demons came out of many people, shouting, “You are the Son of God!”But he
rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew he
was the Messiah. (Luke 4:40-41)
