REBECCA THE  BIBLICAL CHILD BRIDE!!

So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself on its enemies, as it is written in the BOOK OF JASHAR. The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day.

We find a very interesting passage in the Old Testament Where During the time of Joshua Yahweh stops the Sun and moon in order for the enemies of Joshua to be defeated, however the passages tells the readers that this event is so true that you can verify it yourself by finding this particular information in the BOOK OF JASHAR? Now the Book Of JASHAR is not part of the canon, yet we can see it still holds credibility since its mentioned in the book of Joshua as a source of evidence...... The question is if we can verify the sun and moon stopping what else can we verify??? 

Well believe it or not this same book the BOOK OF JASHAR, tells is something even more fascinating and that is the AGE OF REBECCA WHEN SHE GOT MARRIED TO ISAAC? Let's varify this Info like the sun and moon..

(THE BOOK OF JASHAR 24:37-45)

37. And the Lord hearkened to the voice of Eliezer, for the sake of his servant Abraham, and he happened to meet with the daughter of Bethuel, the son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, brother to Abraham, and Eliezer came to her house.
38. And Eliezer related to them all his concerns, and that he was Abraham’s servant, and they greatly rejoiced at him.
39. And they all blessed the Lord who brought this about, and they gave him, Rebecca, the daughter of Bethuel, for a wife for Isaac.
40. And the young woman was of very comely appearance, she was a virgin, and Rebecca was ten years old in those days.
41. And Bethuel and Laban and his children made a feast on that night, and Eliezer and his men came and ate and drank and rejoiced there on that night.
42. And Eliezer rose up in the morning, he and the men that were with him, and he called to the whole household of Bethuel, saying, send me away that I may go to my master; and they rose up and sent away Rebecca and her nurse Deborah, the daughter if UZ and they gave her silver and gold , men servants and maid servants, and they blessed her.
43. And they sent Eliezer away with his men; and the servants took Rebecca, and he went and returned to his master to the land of Canaan.
44. And Isaac took Rebecca and she became his wife, and he brought her into the tent.
45. And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebecca, the daughter of his uncle Bethuel, for a wife.

What we read from Jasher 24:37-45 is that, Isaac was 40 years old when he consummated his marriage with 10 year old Rebekah. The BIG QUESTION is, if the book Joshua tells us to verify its contents then this book could be considered as  another source of info, thus Rebecca was 10 when she married Isaac. (That's clearly stated in verse 40)

Which raises the other BIG QUESTION, according to Genesis 25, a renowned Bible commentator Rashi states Rebecca was 3 years old when she married Isaac and this is also backed by the Jewish oral law (jurisprudence) Talmud Sanhedrin 55b where a Jew can Marry a Three Year Old Girl!

The dilemma Christians face is that either one is correct or both Are wrong? which means THE "BOOK OF JASHAR" holds no credibility and Joshua made up a lie just to entertain its readers? Unless he spoke the truth in which case only confirms Rebecca was 10 years old. How about Rashi the great renowned commentator Jews use for explaining the Old Testament, are Christians willing to throw away such a credible mans work?
