For what charges was Jesus crucified?

For what charges was Jesus crucified?

A Question posed on Christians for what reason was Jesus crucified? What crime did he commit to get such a horrific punishment ! Surely he's crime could not be so serious that he was condemned to be crucified?

Now in response Christians reply JESUS WAS CHARGED FOR BLASPHEMY HE CLAIMED TO BE GOD AND THATS CONSIDERED AS  BLASPHEMY, when we question them where and when did Jesus ever call himself God explicitly, They fail to show us rather they point out a few verses which we will analyse and also find out what is the punishment for blasphemy according to the Old Testament !

------------------

Jesus called himself God John 10:30 :

I and my father are one ( John 10:30) a typical answer found by every Christian evangelist, if only they read the entire context they could spare themselves from such embarrassment . Not only did Jesus call the Jews god's (John 10:34) he also proved them wrong by calling himself a son of god negating such statements by the Jews !

do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’? (John 10:36)

Jesus is confirming he is not God rather a son of God, in Jewish understanding this means a Servant of God. also note psalm 82:6 ye are gods meaning judges, the John 10:30 could mean the Jews didn't accept Jesus as a judge like themselves!

Again John 10:30 doesn't qualify Jesus as God.

---------------------

Jesus forgave sin? (Matthew 9:2)

Another verse Christians love using is Jesus forgave sin?

Some men brought to him a paralytic, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven."  (Matthew 9:2)

Little did they know that Jesus himself testifies that HE WAS GIVEN AUTHORITY (Note even Jewish priest would tell people, after certain rituals you are forgiven)

Which is easier: to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up and walk'?  But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins...." Then he said to the paralytic, "Get up, take your mat and go home."
(Matthew 9:5-6)

Disciples also forgave sins again given Authority

And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you withhold forgiveness from any, it is withheld.” (John 20:22:23)

Once again Matthew 9:2 doesn't qualify as being God!

Whoever has seen me has seen the father? (John 14:9)

A Christians cannot be a Christians if he doesn't brag of this statement

Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
(John 14:9)

Was Jesus the father? NOO Infact Jesus testified he was a messenger sent by God And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. (John 17:3) the bible also explicitly tells us no one can see God period.

No one has ever seen God  (1 John 4:12) (Exodus 33:20) ( John 5:37) but suppose we even agree what John said, did he really mean looking at Jesus was looking at God? If so how do you explain this

"No, please!" said Jacob. "If I have found favor in your eyes, accept this gift from me. For to see your face is like seeing the face of God, now that you have received me favorably. (Genesis 33:10)

Now the question is was Easu also God That Jacob the father of Jews who are called children of isreal.. Make such a statement.? Again John 14:9 failed to qualify Jesus as God.

TALMUD

Each of us is a face of God; each of us is in the image of God; and not one of us is identical to another. If we are spiritually awake, we can see the face of God -- we can see the angelic presence -- in every messenger who comes our way. (Talmud; Sanhedrin 38a.)

--------------------

Jesus said I AM

Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
(John 8:58)

Probably the most widely statement used by Christians IAM???

Once again, the claim in John 8:56-59 "before Abraham was born, I am" is not the same as "worship me!" The fact that Jesus was present before Abraham is not the same as him saying "worship me!" What then would we say about Solomon  (Proverbs 8:22-31) and Melchizedec (Hebrews 7:3), who were supposedly present not only before Abraham, but also before all of creation? What about the many others who were either anointed, consecrated or made holy, before their births. (see Ps.89:20, Is. 45:1, 61:1, 1 Sam. 24:6, and Jer.1:5)?

John 8:58 Jesus said IAM
John 9:9 the blind beggar said IAM
Exodus 3:4 Moses said IAM
Genesis 22:11 Abraham said IAM
Matthew 26:22 All the disciples said IAM
So are they all gods??

Lets study the IAM with Exodus

IAM in Greek is Ego Eimi where as the word used in Exodus 3:14 is ahye asr ahye which means either quote " IAM that IAM or I Shall Be that I Shall Be" are they both the same??

Also note John 3:28 John the Baptist uses the same Greek word Ego Eimi but this time the words are different it's states as follows John 3:28 You yourselves testify that I said, 'I am not the Christ,' but, 'I have been sent before him As u can see above the IAM has become I HAVE same Greek word Ego Eimi So the Greek text for John 8:58 sould state "before Abraham was born I have seen him" doesn't that make more sense

How about Jeremiah ??

The word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
(Jeremiah 1:4-5)

“The LORD brought me forth as the first of his works, before his deeds of old; (Proverbs 8:22)

Again another statement which doesn't qualify Jesus as God!

Does not say before the beginning not at the beginning rather in the beginning when time was in operation,  in the beginning of time because God always existed.

Plus was the Psuedononymous author of John THERE during this "beginning "? Lol

----------------------

Now that we've gathered that Jesus never called himself God not blasphemed God, what was the charge for his so called crime? Let's find out what the Old Testament tells us about blasphemy charges...

Anyone who blasphemes the Name of the LORD must be stoned to death by the whole community of Israel. Any native-born Israelite or foreigner among you who blasphemes the Name of the LORD must be put to death. (Leviticus 24:16)

The above law from the Torah tells us if anyone blasphemes the name of the Lord should be stoned.. Me know for the entire 4 gospels Jesus never blasphemed the name of the Lord so why was he charged for blasphemy? And the punishment for blasphemy was stoning so why was crucifixion used?

Are you saying the Jewish Priests were Lying making up false charges? Jewish renowned respected rabbis and priests who were looking after the temple and fooling biblical laws were lying? This raises the questions if learned Jewish scholars can lie to punish a man what stops them from lying about the Torah altering the texts?.. Either way the entire scenario doesn't make sense,

IF JESUS NEVER BLASPHEMED WHY WAS HE CHARGED? NOT LIKE HE AGREED TO THE JUDGES OF SANHEDRIN? ALSO THE PUNISHMENT FOR BLASPHEMY IS STONING NIT CRUCIFIXION

Here's the sucker punch the book of Mark tells us they found no charge against him which tells us Jesus was innocent an there was no need to crucifix him and the Jews were lying, just like the Christians who keep lying that Jesus blasphemed.. Also this tells us the Jewish priests were lying, did they keep the Torah safe?

Now the chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were seeking testimony against Jesus to put Him to death, but they did not find any. For many bore false witness againstJesus, but their testimony was inconsistent. Then some men stood up and testified falsely against Him:… (Mark 14:55:57)

SO WHAT WAS THE CHARGE AGAIN??
